Here is my master list of predictions on the 2013 NFL Seasonhere is Andrew’s master list.

I’m only four games behind Andrew in prediction records! With Week 16 over will I fall too far behind him for Week 17 or will Week 17 determine it all? Read below to find out.

Green is correct; red is incorrect.

Here are my predictions:

Week 16 Record: 7 – 9

Season Record: 140 – 100

Well. Well. Well. Looks like I over/underestimated several teams when forecasting the year. I thought the Broncos would begin to start resting their starters, which would lead the Texans to winning that game – the Texans have the talent, but no QB or any real coaching to bring out that talent. I believed in my Ohio brothers – the Browns – too much before the year. Next year if I do this I will not be sympathetic and be caught up in their decent defense.  The Lions? There’s nothing to say. Let’s go to Andrew’s predictions and hope he did equally as bad or somehow worse.

Here are Andrew’s predictions:

Monday, Dec. 23

Falcons @ 49ers — 8:40 p.m.

Week 16 Record: 11 – 5

Season Record: 148 – 94

Hmm, looks like I messed up the records a week or so ago because the season record totals don’t match. I’ll be looking into that, but it appears that Andrew will win it regardless because our last picks lack variety anyhow. Congrats.

Ravens @ Lions — Mon., 8:40 p.m. Ravens 23 Lions 17

Week 15 Record: 10 – 6

Last week I gained one game total on Andrew! This week I can gain three games total this week on him. Will I be able to do it, or will I fall back three games? LET’S FIND OUT SHALL WE. (It’s also quite funny that both of us are keeping pace with analysts’ predictions on CBSSports, ESPN, and Fox sports – that don’t factor in the spread that is. Their predictions are done weekly too.)

NFL Week 10 Results: Makin’ Moves

Here is my master list of predictions on the 2013 NFL Seasonhere is Andrew’s master list.

Week 10 of the 2013 NFL season has ended and it appears that the playoff picture is starting to clear up, though the way the Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts played this week do they really deserve to make the playoffs?

Yes of course those two teams deserve to make the playoffs if their records warrant it; that’s a stupid question, but it’s a question I saw frequently on message boards, forums, and reddit. If your record qualifies you for the playoffs, you deserve it because you won the games on your schedule. Nothing else to it, really. Whichever team actually decides to win the NFC East also deserves to be in because that team will have done what they have to do to get into the playoffs.

Fans are too emotional after losses, especially after a two game losing streak (Bengals). There are plenty of weeks left in the season to regroup and become the teams that they were earlier in the season. My message to fans (not including fans of JAX, OAK, TB, HOU, ATL, BUF, PIT, and MIN): relax, we have plenty of football to go and your team likely has a semi chance to make the playoffs.

Now let’s see if I can gain any traction on Andrew, but my gut feeling says I didn’t gain any ground – like usual.

Wow! We both called the Jacksonville Jaguars winning this week, though I am almost certain each of us predicted the Jaguars to win a game or two earlier in the year as well. And I did gain ground for once this week! Woohoo! Still I am seven games back, but gaining two games will help tremendously in this stretch run.

NFL Week 8 Results: Are Things Starting To Look Up?

Here is my master list of predictions on the 2013 NFL Seasonhere is Andrew’s master list.

Compared to my last few weeks of predictions, this week is MUCH better. It’s not that impressive and I am likely still several games behind Andrew, but is this the beginning of a comeback? Or is it just me treading water to stay semi-relevant with his picks? Let’s TAKE A GANDER!
